General Intention: That the family may be respected by all in its identity and that its irreplaceable contribution to all of society be recognized.
Missionary Intention: That in the mission territories where the struggle against disease is most urgent, Christian communities may witness to the presence of Christ to those who suffer.

Indulgences and the Rosary
When praying the Rosary, one can gain a plenary indulgence if the Rosary is recited:
- in its entirety
- in a group in front of the Blessed Sacrament
- in a Catholic church
- out loud
- if prayed publicly, the Mysteries should be announced
One must also:
- make a sacramental confession within a week of praying the Rosary
- receive Holy Communion
- pray for the Pope's monthly intentions. This is typically done by praying an Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be at the end of the Rosary.
If all of the above conditions are not met, a person may still receive a partial indulgence.
